Yakima Basin snowpack now just above average

After more than two weeks of wet, stormy weather, the snowpack in the Yakima River Basin has now reached average for this time of the year.

According to mountain snow monitors, the basin has 101.5 percent of normal snowpack — up from about 60 percent at the start of February.
